What time is registration?
Registration is open from 16:00 till 20:00 on Friday 30th August
What time is the race briefing?
The mandatory briefing is 18:00 on Friday 30th August
Where is registration/briefing?
In the main marquee on the event field (pls do NOT bring your transition bags until the morning of the race)
Do I rack my bike on Friday?
Your choice, there will be overnight security if you decide to leave your bike in race HQ on Friday, but if you can't be parted, then you can rack on Saturday morning
What time is transition open on race day?
From 05:00
What time/day does the race start?
The race starts at 07:00 Saturday 31st August 2019
Will there be food / drinks on site?
Yes, there is a catering van open from 05:00 till late on Saturday and TORQ nutrition, cake, cheese scones, sandwiches, bananas and
jellybabies available at the HQ aid station.
What will be available at the aid stations?
TORQ nutrition, bananas, biscuits, jellybabies, water, coke and
more CAKE!
Where are the aid stations?
One on the trail run (2.5 mile approx), one on the bike (mile 14) and one at HQ
Is there car parking available?
You can’t park on the event field, but there are lots of car parks nearby. Please see the info pack for locations
Where can I stay
There are plenty of B&Bs, hotels and bunkhouses available near race HQ - brutalevents.co.uk/brutal_accommodation.html
Are there showers in transition?
No, only toilets.
What are the rules?
No drafting. You must wear a cycle helmet. No MP3 players or similar. No
littering and you must mount and dismount at the designated points.
